Blue sky and dry when we woke up! We turned South on 93 from Twin Falls through Jackpot, Nevada, Wells, Ely and Panca. It has been years and years since I was in Jackpot, a border town with a casino. Sonny and I spend a night there on a motorcycle trip to Yellowstone. The only accommodation was a motel made out of mobile homes strung together that had 2 or 3 rooms side by side. We needed to do laundry and the hotel staff let us use their employee facilities since there wasn't a laundromat anywhere near. Now, the town has grown to include at least 3 hotels with casinos.
We passed a "shoe tree" in McGill....a tree with pairs of shoes tied to the limbs. It came up too quick to get a picture-darn. Traffic throughout the day was light.

| As we drove into St George, the guys wanted to get their tee times lined up for Monday. First stop was here. Elegant golf course that survived the 2008 crash in housing. Many homes now occupied around the course but still a few unfinished. |
